Codestream 15 is ageing I'd really like to make sure that any "workstation/coding" installation has a distrobox installed and working out of the box. So you can easily get Tumbleweed-fresh toolchain within a minute.
Instructions to manualy enable it are written here https://en.opensuse.org/Distrobox#Leap_and_Tumbleweed
Toolbox (available on SLEM/LeapMicro) in many ways feels quite behind distrobox, I'll open separate request to go for distrobox by default.
The usecase is to offer a working development environment with newest tools with almost 0 effort. And increase adoption of distrobox itself.
I did talk to Product Management, and as far as SLE goes they're okay with simply having it in Package HUB.
We should tweak our wiki to make sure that SLE is covered too. https://en.opensuse.org/Distrobox
Fedora is using toolbox by default, but it's not microos-toolbox as we use it (shell script implementation) but rather a go implementation https://github.com/containers/toolbox
Toolbox is enabled by default on Workstation, Silverblue but not server.
We should change docs to use podman instead https://en.opensuse.org/Distrobox#Leap_and_Tumbleweed
Based on the current discussions I'm inclined to reject this. So far I have not talked to a supportive person in this regard.
