It was brought to my attention that some chat groups using openSUSE name may not be applying our guiding principles and even discriminating against LGBTQ users. This opens a broader subject on how we make the various online communities "official" and how we should deal with groups that are not in line with our values.

This does not sound good. IMHO we need to make a firm stand to the matter
It was agreed that as a first step we should start drafting a Code of Conduct that clarifies the rules and to be paired with the existing openSUSE Guiding Principles. Neal contacted the Fedora project to arrange a meeting because they recently went through a similar initiative.
