Along side the Group of "Members" in connect.opensuse.org, there was a second group of "Emeritus Members" that from memory was around 300 people. It seems this list has been lost in transition.

Have you already raised this with the membership/election officials? Are you going to? You having more (if not most) background on this matter that would be really help if you could do so and copy board@.

Update: Second half of July Simon reached out to the membership officials and Wolfgang followed up on behalf of that team.
This now sits with the Heroes for (hopefully) some archeological work.
