Make $wgDBmysql5 configurable via pillar
    
    Defaults to True (which is what most wikis need), but old-de and old-en
    need it set to false (= non-utf8 database connection).
    
    Also set $wgIgnoreImageErrors to avoid error message for thumbnails in
    read-only wikis.
