rsyslog on all hosts:
    
    - monitor.i.o.o gets role syslog
    - all machines get rsyslog running via the rsyslog-formula
    - they also get a syslog.i.o.o /etc/hosts entry, in case the DNS is not
      working or the domain is not resolvable during boot
    - we use our own template for /etc/rsyslog.conf as the upstream one is
      too complex to make it suit our needs for now, and will need a few
      upstream changes as well.
