#113 Partial disk encrypton
Opened a year ago by Lachu. Modified 8 months ago

Allow to encrypt only private data and protect system by digital-sign of binaries/configuration files. This probably allow to reduce disk usage and to protect sensitive-data by another key/password (for example: each user private data will be protected differently, with different password/key - for example).

I think it's very unlikely that this would be in Leap 16.0 or ALP Server 1.0, even if it we'd receive all approvals. Just my personal remark, that SUSE is investing heavily into Full Disk Encryption with TPM 2.0 chips. I'm not super optimistic, but let's see what does product management say about the idea. Thank you!

So far no update on the SUSE side.

No feedback on the SUSE side. As mentioned I don't see this as a priority request given the "nature" of ALP Micro.
