Java 21 is the next Java with long term support. The release is planned for this September. We should include the latest long term support Java.

I did raise this with Fridrich and created respective tracker on SUSE side. Fridrich needs to wait for some official confirmation about LTSS, as we can only add LTSS versions to SLES.
Fridrich mentioned it would make sense to ad 21.0.1 which should be out month after GA 2023/09/19. Roadmap https://openjdk.org/projects/jdk/21/

I can see that Fridrich already got java-21 into SP6 https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Leap:15.6/java-21-openjdk
