#88 Support full integration with Microsoft 365 in GNOME similar to Google Workspace
Opened 2 years ago by Pharaoh_Atem. Modified a month ago

Corporate users operating in a Microsoft 365 environment configured with single sign on that use a Linux desktop (e.g. SLED or SLEW) are unable to integrate the services into GNOME like they can if they use Google Workspace.

Some examples of issues:

OneDrive support

Online Accounts support

Misc

  • GNOME Contacts and Calendar uses GOA for Google, but lacks support for M365
  • Evolution does not work if you use SSO and cannot get alternative credentials for EWS.

Evolution features

  • Outlook category integration to Evolution is missing

SLE 15 SP6 should get it too

This is slated to be at least partly done for GNOME 46, which is not being integrated into SLE 15 SP6. For now, this looks like a SLE/Leap 16 feature only, unless SLE engineering changes their mind and bumps to GNOME 46 instead of GNOME 45 for SLE 15.
