Subject: [PATCH] Input: switch to using sizeof(*type) when allocating memory
Git-commit: c3f6f8612bdab5959950a58291bd61d1d42d996b
References: git-fixes
Patch-mainline: v4.13-rc1

Instead of specifying type explicitly, derive it from the type of pointer
when allocating memory, which is considered safer practice.
