Subject: qed: remove redundant assignment to rc
Patch-mainline: v5.3-rc1
Git-commit: b9f88982750d5c28b3c55ab8b802ecfa62a0bbd2
References: bsc#1136460 jsc#SLE-4691 bsc#1136461 jsc#SLE-4692

The variable rc is assigned with a value that is never read and
it is re-assigned a new value later on. The assignment is redundant
and can be removed.
