Subject: rt: Improve the serial console PASS_LIMIT
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Git-repo: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rt/linux-rt-devel.git
Git-commit: 24543cb754c9d55b589838dbe283af1f142a0682
Patch-mainline: Queued in subsystem maintainer repository
References: SLE Realtime Extension
Beyond the warning:
drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250.c:1613:6: warning: unused variable ‘pass_counter’ [-Wunused-variable]
the solution of just looping infinitely was ugly - up it to 1 million to
give it a chance to continue in some really ugly situation.
